Privacy Policy

LearnAppDev ("we", "us" or "our") is an AI-first app and website development studio based in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. We have been building Android apps, websites, web apps and AI-powered products since March 2023. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have.

This policy applies to our website https://learnappdev.in, our project planner at https://app.learnappdev.in, and the emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you exchange with us. Apps that we publish or build for clients have their own privacy policies.

We handle personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, business name, email address, mobile number, WhatsApp number and how you prefer to be contacted.
• Project details: the type of project, your description of the idea, your answers in the project planner, the features you choose, your budget range and your timeline.
• Files you upload, such as a business card, a sketch or a document that explains your idea.
• Messages, change requests and feedback you send us.
• Proposal and payment records, such as which proposal you accepted and the payment status.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. We use it to keep the service secure, to limit abuse and to fix problems.
• Cookies that the service needs to work (see section 7).

Payment information

Online payments are handled by our payment partner Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure pages and are never stored by us. We only receive the payment status, the amount and reference numbers.

2. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about your project.
• To prepare your project plan, proposal and fixed price.
• To design, build, deliver and support your app or website.
• To process payments, send invoices and keep accounting records.
• To send service messages, such as sign-in links and updates about your project.
• To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent fraud and misuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing

Our project planner can use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to write your project plan, to make the text you type clearer when you press Enhance with AI, and to read contact details from a business card you upload. We do this only after you allow AI processing. Without your permission, your plan is made from your answers without AI.

When AI is used, your project answers or the uploaded file are sent to Anthropic's servers, which may be outside India, and are processed under Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy. Your name, email address and phone number are not sent with project plan requests. You can turn AI off at any time from your project page. AI output can contain mistakes, so our team checks every plan before work starts.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

• hosting and database providers, to run our website and project planner;
• email and messaging providers, to send emails and WhatsApp messages;
• Razorpay, to process payments;
• Anthropic, for AI processing when you allow it;
• Google Fonts, which loads the fonts on our website and receives your IP address; and
• app stores, domain and hosting providers, when we publish or deploy your project for you.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or as part of a business transfer. In that case, this policy continues to apply to your data.

5. How long we keep information

• Uploaded files are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after 365 days without activity.
• Project, proposal and message records are kept while we work with you and for a reasonable time afterwards, so we can support your project.
• Invoices, payment and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct, complete or update your data;
• ask us to delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it;
• withdraw your consent at any time, for example for AI processing;
• nominate another person to use these rights for you; and
• raise a complaint with us and, if you are not satisfied with our reply, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To use these rights, open your project and choose Change or delete my project, or contact us using the details below. We reply within 30 days.

7. Cookies

Our project planner uses only essential cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers your project, and a security cookie that protects forms. Our main website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but the project planner will not work without them.

8. Security

We protect your data with HTTPS encryption, private file storage, hashed one-time sign-in links and limited admin access. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Children

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or on our website.
